This is one of Durban’s most interesting experiences. Your guide will show you the way to the uMzinyathi Gorge and discover its waterfall and pristine valley vegetation. Taking in the breath-taking views and unique culture of wild Inanda. Experience both, with a guided walk to the impressive gorge and pristine valley vegetation that surround the uMzinyathi Waterfall. And just when you think you have seen it all, the steep gorge opens into a sacred cliff-face cave, a spiritual home still used by local Rastafarians. Here you will learn about the Rastafarian people, their religion as well as view the Rastafarian temple, caves and rock houses as well as ancient Ethiopian writings.
You will meet and pick up your Guide at the eNanda Adventure Park- he will then ride with you in your vehicle to the falls for the start of the tour. The path down to the Rasta caves is rocky and when it rains it can be slippery. It is advised you were proper hiking shoes, the distance however is only about 300m. At arrival you will learn about the Rastafarian people, their religion as well as view the Rastafarian temple, caves and rock houses (which they live in) as well as ancient Ethiopian writing.
