Our guided hiking trails around Inanda Dam are safe, require an easy to average level of fitness, fully guided by experienced guides and perfect for the entire family. And why not top it off with a quiet picnic on the shores of Inanda Dam after you walk! The trails are excellent for bird watching and finding out about the rich ecology in this drier thornveld area. You can even arrange a hike to visit the Mzinyathi Falls and also include an option for a trail down the Mzinyathi Gorge. Our guides for the trails are experienced and have a great knowledge of the local area’s trees, birds and history.
Trail is about 2 hours and route can be adjusted based on your level of fitness.
Tours are available daily but need prior booking.

Dear Sir/Madam This has been one the best experience we have been on yet. After our previous booking at the mangroves, we decided to pick another one of your great adventures. We were not wrong, overall you just keep getting better and better. The most noticeable point to make is that the staff were so well informed and friendly. I must commend the management for having such a wonderful staff. I think people need to be made aware of the greatness KZN has to offer and more needs to be done marketing yourselves via social media as this is the new method of communication and awareness. I enjoyed the hike. Our guide was very informed about te surrounding environment, plants and animals. We were kept quite entertained by his stories about the areas tales and history. My only complaint is the length of the hike. We walked a total of 5km at R100 per person. Others that o have no complaints. - Kwazi
